Noah's Ark

Up close and personal
Lounging around

Drew, Rebecca, and I went to nearby church's preschool pool, called Noah's Ark. In the center of the pool is an ark that has slides. It is only about a foot deep so perfect for both kids. Drew had fun on the slides and Rebecca had fun splashing around. As you can tell they had a great time.

Daddy's Day

Amanda and Rebecca... the long awaited Sevier girls

Carson, Drew and Amanda

Rebecca and her favorite man

Sweet Caden, entertaining Rebecca (note the ice all around her, she LOVES ice)

Drew kept referring to Father's Day as Daddy's Day. Drew and Rebecca are so blessed to have such a wonderful daddy. It's fun to see them so excited when Brett comes home from work. They are blessed to have great grandpas, too! Happy Father's Day, Dads! Thanks for being Godly men and taking such great care of your families.

We had a great time at Grammy and Papa's house. Drew and Becca have such a fun time playing with their cousins. Poor Amanda, I hope her nose is ok after all of Becca's "kisses". I am glad that my kids are able to grow up with family "close" by.

No fear Sevier

Rebecca "Danger" Sevier. That should be her name. She sure likes to give me a good scare. I never thought when Brett built the swing set that I would have to worry so soon about Rebecca being able to climb to the top of the fort. Ok, I realized she could climb the slide, but there she goes up the ladder. And she is quick too. My sweet daughter seems to have no fear!!!

Snack Time

Sorry to all the Aggies. Drew wanted to wear his Rice shirt today. I guess he was still celebrating the big win last night.

Small Town USA

Yesterday was the kick-off of new Sunday nights at church titled, Small Town USA. There were inflatables and bouncy-things for the kids and activities for the entire family (exercise classes, cooking classes, family movies, worship). We went for Drew to enjoy the bouncy-things and he sure did enjoy them.

Friday Fun Continues

Friday evening we took a walk in the neighborhood to see the ducks. The ducks were friendly, but the geese were a little aggressive. I guess Brett was a little tasty and one tried to get a nibble. We had a great day full of animals. Poor Drew, tomorrow might be a little boring.

Friday Fun!!

Yea!! Everyone is well. To celebrate (and get me out of the house, where I had been since Saturday) we took Drew and Rebecca to see and feed the horses at the HPD Mounted Patrol. Drew had a great time. He was brave and fed them the apples, carrots, and peppermints. I didn't really want to get slimed or lose a finger so I left the feeding to him and Brett. Fun day!

Illness

Daddy and his girl

Ugh!!! The past few days Drew has been sick, just running fever. But it sure has made for long days. He wakes up this morning fever-free and I think that I am in the clear to resume our regular life and ... poor Rebecca wakes up with a fever. But the upside is that it slowed her down (am I a terrible mom???) and that she let me hold her for a long time today. Being an active one-year old she doesn't want to be held as much as I would like. Dad and Kelly came to my rescue to help out with Drew. Dad spoiled us with our favorite, Baskin Robbins. Kelly spoiled Drew (and Belle) with a walk to the lake in our neighborhood to visit the ducks.
