Pile of Leaves

No snow in Houston in December (or really any time), but we do have plenty of leaves. Love the expression on their faces as they race toward the pile. Pure Happiness.

Field Trip to Children's Museum

One of the many reasons I am thankful I can stay at home is so that I can go on the kids' field trips. So fun to see them with their friends and just be with them. Rebecca's class went to the children's museum. They went the previous year, but this trip was so much better and they were able to explore different areas that were fun and educational. Love being with my best girl!

BUGZ

Rebecca's first grade play was Bugz. It was very cute, but Rebecca was cast as a grub worm. UGH. So many of the girls were cute in their lady bugs costumes or as butterflies. But Rebecca wore a plain, cream sheet. However, she did have a second line so I hid some butterfly wings under her sheet and told her to take off her sheet and hold out the wings for her second line. However, she forgot! So she was a grub worm the entire time. Oh well. She was the cutest bug to me!

Drew and Becca's Happy Place

We went to Brett's Aunt Darla and Uncle Joel's house for Thanksgiving. Drew and Rebecca love this place. They can drive four wheelers, see animals, feed fish. And this time when we went, there were COUSINS!! My kids love cousins. They love (and adore) Amanda, Carson, and Caden, but there were even more to play with and meet. Such a fun time.

Feast Day

Rebecca's school always does a great job celebrating Thanksgiving. There is a reenactment of the Sailing of the Mayflower. First grade were the Pilgrims. Afterwards the kids sat down to a huge feast. Great way to kick off the Thanksgiving season.
