I told you Rebecca was celebrating and celebrating. Now it was time to party with her friends. Our friend, Leah, has a birthday near Rebecca's, so we decided to have a joint swim party (just like last year).

End of 3rd Grade

I say it all the time. Where does the time go? I can't believe this school year is over. 3rd grade flew by. But it was such a great year. It definitely was more challenging than 2nd, but great to watch him grow to meet those challenges.

Rebecca turns 7 and celebrates

and celebrates and celebrates. First we celebrated with my side of the family, eating at Los Tios complete with sombrero and tres leches, and cake by Ooo Ooo at mom and dad's.

So cute, but with the lice scares going around Rebecca's friends all I can think about is who wore the hat  last!

Celebrating continued when we went to the Seviers' to celebrate Marcus', Rebecca's, and Uncle Mike's birthdays since they are all days apart. I don't think Rebecca knew that it was anyone else's birthday!

Rebecca, we are so thankful for you and the joy you bring to our life. We love our sweet girl who enjoys dressing up and playing with makeup and nail polish and who still wants to hold the lizard or snake. Love you to the moon + infinity and back!!

Rebecca's grade studied animals for her project. Rebecca chose to research the giant panda. She did a great job on it! (forgive her hair, we came straight from swim practice)

Field Day

Drew's school waited until the end of the year to have field day. I wonder if they were hoping for a really scorching day. Well the weather cooperated and I didn't die of heat stroke like some days in May can be. I helped out with the water activities and did my best to not get wet. The kids, on the other hand, loved getting soaked. It was a fun day and a fun way to help bring the end of the year to a close.
