Kindergarten, Here I Come

I can't believe that Drew is finished with Pre-K. The year went by so fast. We loved his school and his teachers and the friends that he made. He knows all his letters and the sounds. He can count to 100, count by 10 to 100, write his letters, reads simple books, does simple addition (1+1, 1+2). He learned so much and is ready to take on Kindergarten. We are so proud of you, Drew!

Here is Drew on his last day of class. (Where did my baby go?)

The first day of school.

Swim Team - year 2

Drew is practicing with Swim Team again this year. The kids have to swim the entire length of the pool to make the team and I am not sure if that is going to happen. But he is improving and that is great. I am so happy that Drew (and Rebecca) enjoy swimming.

Mother's Day

I spent Mother's Day with 2 of my favorite people. I am a lucky girl. Thanks to our moms for the examples they have set for us.

Park Fun

We got together with 2 of Brett's roommates from his single days and their families, for fun at a park. The kids had a great time and so did the adults!

Like Father, like Daughter
Aren't they cute?

Drew's T-Ball

I will try to catch the blog up with all that has gone on in May. It has been a crazy month.

Drew played T-Ball again. He was excited because several friends from school were on his team and Brett's good friend, Les' son, Trey played too. He made lots of progress each game. He hit harder and fielded the ball better. It is great to watch him play (even though with Becca, I didn't get to watch as closely as I wanted).

Baptism and Birthday

In April, we went to watch our nephew, Carson, be baptized. I was glad that we went to support Carson and also explain to Drew what baptism is all about. We anxiously await when Drew will follow in his cousins' steps and accept Christ to be his Savior!

Afterwards we went to Marcus and Rachel's to celebrate Amanda's 12th Birthday!

We are so proud of Carson!

My flower girl is all grown up!
