End of First Grade

First grade had an end of the year party. The kids had a blast playing all the carnival games. They really loved it when their teacher poured water on them. Drew had a wonderful year and we will miss his teacher, but looking forward to 2nd grade!

Animal Nation

In Drew's class, they all had to choose an animal to research. Drew's favorite animals are lions so that is what he chose to learn about. They also had to have a display to go along with the report. He wanted to have a display board with pictures and captions for the pictures that he came up with. He also wanted to make a diorama. He was so proud of his project. Good job, Drew!

Rebecca's birthday celebrations began with me taking her to the zoo and ride the train. I had so much fun with my sweet girl!

Then that weekend we continued the celebration with the family. We waited until school was out to have her friend party. So thankful for my girl and looking forward to all that this year will bring.

River Bandits (again)

Last year, Drew's t-ball team was the River Bandits. This year, his baseball team was again the River Bandits. Nice to have another shirt to switch out with!!! Most of the boys were on his team last year. It was great to see the kids progress with their skills.

This year was machine pitch. I couldn't believe that these little boys were supposed to make contact with that ball being hurled at them at the crazy speed of 38 mph. Drew did great. He made contact almost every time he went to bat.

Drew's team wasn't the best, but they did win their first playoff game. So exciting!!!
