Christmas morning was very strange for me. As a child, I couldn't wait for my parents to wake up to open the presents. I'm also sure that I woke up earlier than normal. My children didn't wake up any earlier than they normally do and then they waited until after we ate breakfast. I think that we didn't start opening gifts until after 9!
Later that day, we went to Grammy and Papa's. Drew was so excited to see his cousins. Maxine made a great meal. There was an adult table and a kid table. Brett and I got to eat at the... (drum roll, please) adult table. Wow, do we feel old. It was a wonderful Christmas!
