Baylor Madness

Last weekend I had one of the biggest thrills of my life. I saw Baylor play in the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight. I have loved college basketball since I was a little girl and I especially love the NCAA tournament. I couldn't believe that MY team was playing in the Sweet Sixteen and how lucky was I that the tournament was in Houston.

Friday night Brett and I went to see Baylor play St. Mary's. Baylor completely dominated. It was so great to see so much green and gold in the stands (yes, I made my Aggie husband wear green!) and see my team do so well.

Brett, Kelly, Dad, and I went back on Sunday to watch Baylor play Duke in the Elite Eight. (thanks to Jared and Les for their tickets) Baylor did so well, we were even up at the half. But those Blue Devils came back and beat us. Boo!

What a fun bb season. A trip to the Elite Eight! Beating UT 3 times! Beating OU (for the 1st time in about 30 years!)

Now on to cheer for my Lady Bears who are set to play Connecticut in the Final Four! I don't think that they stand a chance (U Conn is unbelievable), but it will fun to see Brittney Griner! I wish I could go, but they are playing on Easter.
