Last week of summer...

Vacation, that is. With the temperature in the 100s, I wonder when summer will ever come to an end. On Tuesday, Dad took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese to play (with stops at McDonald's for lunch and Baskin Robbins for dessert), Thursday, I took the kids to the zoo, and then Friday, Brett and I took the kids to Space Center Houston. What a week. But the best was on the way to the first day of school and Drew thanked us for a fun summer. So I guess it was worth it all. My monkeys
acting like a monkey! Our favorite lion, Jonathan The Grizzly Bears (from Canada) trying to stay cool

This Jaguar put on a show for us. It walked around and made some noises.

We always have to stop and ride the carousel. Drew is obsessed with big cats so the chose the leopard.

Silly girl wanted the dogYes, mom wants more pictures!

This was a neat climbing wall for kids. One of the rocks would light up and the child would touch it and then the next one would light up.

What a fun summer 2011 we spent. Even though it was so hot and the kids played way too many video games and watched way too much t.v.! We had fun with swim team (he won a couple of medals on his relays), went to California and played in the Pacific Ocean, swam at our pool, and went to dollar movies. It was so great and I love being with my kids. I know they won't ever be this age again!
