Baylor goes Bowling

While it has never sucked to BU as one school would have you to believe, it has been challenging over the years to watch our football team. Each year as football season approached there was great anticipation that quickly led to disappointment. This summer it looked like the Big 12 was going to be no more and our future in a conference looked bleak. Amazing what a few months can do.

Baylor had a unbelievable football season. The team had amazing wins over TCU, UT, and incredible win over Oklahoma (had never beaten them in Big 12 play), and an amazing come from behind win over Kansas. There were so many unbelievable plays/catches. It was such a memorable and fun season. BU ended up going 10-3. We (like I was apart of it) were invited to play Washington in the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio.

Brett is such a great husband and was all for us going. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the game (especially after we got the lead and kept it. I was nervous for much of the game.) Hopefully this is the beginning of good things to come. I wouldn't mind watching my basketball team be in the Final Four!!!
Lee Greenwood sang "I'm Proud to be an American" and the "Star-Spangled Banner".
