Since our primary school only goes up to 2nd grade, at the end of the year we have a Buddy Walk. The 3rd graders from the next school walk over to the primary school and all the 2nd and 3rd graders walk over to the new school. It helps with the transition to 3rd grade so the kids will be a little familiar with their new school. Most kids were assigned a buddy to walk with. Drew was assigned a girl that he knew. She took her job seriously and gave Drew a good tour, telling him all about the 3rd grade.
