Boy Scout trip to Washington on the Brazos

We went with Drew's troop to visit Washington on the Brazos, the birthplace of Texas. I had never been before and really enjoyed it. There is nothing like learning about Texas history. Also on the property was the Barrington Living History Farm. It is a representation of the farm founded by Dr. Anson Jones, the last President of the Republic of Texas. It was very hands on and the kids saw what a home in the late 1800's looked like. They saw some of the games kids played, how they slept, and how they worked.

Wouldn't be a fun trip without climbing a tree
New appreciation of our washing machine.
So thankful for running water
