Drew swam in a tough age group this year, 9&10s. There are a number of 9&10 year old boys on our team. So for championships Drew was asked to swim up in the 11&12 age group. This meant he had to swim a 50. If the coaches wouldn't have asked him to move up, he wouldn't made championships.Only the top 6 swimmers from all the teams in each event qualify to swim. So he qualified to swim in the Medley and Freestyle Relays. We were so proud of him swimming a 50.
