This year mom's birthday was also Mother's Day. Thankfully she gave up her desire to have seafood so that I could enjoy my Mother's Day meal. We had Italian. Yum! Happy Birthday and Mother's Day to a great mom who was/is always so sacrificial to her family. 
I am so thankful to God for my 2 blessings. I love being their mom! Many days are long and hard, but the joy of hearing them say, "I love you, mom," is the best. Drew really seemed to understand Mother's Day this year and made several sweet cards and items for me. He also said that I wasn't to do any work around the house. I think Mother's Day needs to come around more often!
