Legoland

Day 2 found us traveling north to Legoland. We rode the train up the coast, but it was foggy so we didn't have the best views of the ocean.

Here we are riding the train.
Just me and my gal

Yea! We made it!

Legoland was such a wonderful place and the kids were at the perfect ages to enjoy it. Drew was even able to get his roller coaster fix on a couple of rides. I really enjoyed Legoland as well. Everything is created out of Legos. Really unbelievable what all they can create. The weather was wonderful which made going to an amusement park in July so great. Our first ride was a "safari" and all the animals along the way were out of Legos.

Kelly and Becca on the first ride

Sandra and Bob don't want to miss out on the fun, either!

Having fun on a roller coaster that was just Becca's size and speed!

On a boat ride through storybook land. Various character such as Hansel and Gretel, the 3 Pigs, Little Red Riding hood were displayed.

Drew with one of Daddy's favorite characters

So much to do and try

Fun rides

Reminded me of Astroworld's Bamboo Shoot (but on a much smaller version!)

This section is called Miniland. It was fascinating. There are replicas of major cities and landmarks. The detail put into it was amazing. Here Rebecca, Drew and Kelly are in D.C. in front of the Capitol.

There was a new Star Wars section and Drew was in Heaven! Famous scenes from each of the Star War episodes were created. Drew wanted pictures of every scene to show Brett. He finally took the camera from me so that he could get the pictures that he wanted. I was so sad that Brett wasn't there to see Drew's excited face.

Mom and Drew in the Big Easy. There was a Mardi Gras parade going by!

The Big Apple

A final ride to end the day! Look at that happy face! (I mean Rebecca's, I just realized that Drew's face isn't that happy!)

What a fun time we had!
